France Tasters

The Experience

My family and I visited the Alps in France for 10 days. We stayed in a small condo at the bottom of the alps and spent 7 days skiing in the slopes of France and Italy. Luckily for me, I experienced many dishes that kept my palate satisfied for the entire trip. Everyday, we would wake up at 7 o'clock and eat a quick breakfast before heading for the slopes. We had 7 days of beautiful sunny weather, which encouraged my family and I to eat on the terrace of many gourmet restaurants found on the different peaks of the Alps.

5/5 this restaurant was incredible.

Foie Gras is a "must have"when visiting France. La Bouitte was one of the restaurants found within the alps. Chef Rene and Maxime Mailleur are both very talented chefs. Their menu was like no other I had ever seen before. They only included a couple of dishes that you could order individually because they are known for the chefs "surprises du jour". This choise included 3 courses; an appetizer, a main dish, and a dessert all of which you are surprised with because they are chosen by the chefs themselves.
